Littlejohn, Professor Sir Henry

Professor Sir Henry Littlejohn who was born in 1828 became Edinburgh's first Medical Officer of Health. Littlejohn's duties under this role included slum clearance and urban improvements. He was also Professor of Medical Jurisprudence between 1897 and 1906. He died in 1914.
