A ‘must see’ is the Scottish Fisheries Museum, Anstruther - an award winning attraction telling the story of fishing communities and the fishing industry in Scotland. From Anstruther you can also take a boat trip to the May Isle, home of many Puffins and other birds and seals.

From Anstruther to St Andrews is approximately 15 miles walk by the coast and in places, the path is poor. For the average tourist, I would recommend taking a bus or car from Anstruther. If you follow the ‘Tourist Route’ signs, you will have some amazing views of the River Forth.
