Porter, Gail
Gail was born at 7pm on the evening of 23rd of March
1971 in Simpson's Memorial Hospital, Edinburgh. Her first industry role
was a runner for a video production company in Edinburgh, having completed
a Higher National Diploma. Prior to that Gail had worked for UK DIY and
hardware chain B&Q.
Her first major TV role was as presenter of the children's
programme, Fully Booked. She writes her own scripts for the shows
she presents.
In a publicity stunt by magazine FHM, Gail Porter
became the first person to have a picture of theirself with no clothes
on projected onto the Houses of Parliament in London.
Gail continues to present a number of UK television
programmes for the BBC and Channel 5.
