Westlothiana Lizzae
In 1987, Westlothiana Lizzae, the world's oldest
known reptile fossil was discovered in Bathgate,
West Lothian, Scotland.
The fossil itself (or Lizzie as it is affectionately referred to)
now has a home in The Museum of Scotland.
