The East Lothian village of East Linton is over two hundered years old, and sits on a river as it meanders its way to Tynemouth near Dunbar.

A short journey from East Linton brings you to Preston Mill, the only water mill in Scotland still operating. Preston Mill is also surrounded by farmland, and visitors to the mill can walk on to a preserved dovecot nearby.
