welcomes you to The Clyde Valley, Scotland. Enjoy your visit.

Giffnock
is a town on the outskirts of Glasgow and in
the East Renfrewshire area of The Clyde Valley.
Giffnock
is home to a Victorian mansion, Eastwood House which is located
in the grounds of Eastwood Park and was once home to Viscount Weir,
who was host to royalty, prime ministers and foreign leaders. Today
the mansion is a cultural and recreational venue.
Not far
off is another park, Rouken Glen Park, which is one of the largest
public parks in Scotland. The park has a cross-section of land, from
trim grass and trees to a Highland Glen with crags and cliffs, as well
as a boating pond. The park also houses The Gatehouse Gallery, which
has exhibitions of painting and craftwork, and to Eastwood Butterfly
Kingdom which is sadly no longer open. The latter formerly housed an
array of butterflies and moths from all around the world which can be
found in an indoor tropical garden.
