Just seven miles from the Trossachs, Aberfoyle is a delightful town containg many craft shops, tea-rooms and an excellent visitor centre. The Scottish Wool Centre features sheep-shearing demonstrations, an exhibition on the history of wool production in Scotland and a large shop with an excellent range of Scottish gifts. On the hill above the town stands the David Marshall Lodge and associated nature trails.
