This
elegant mansion in the middle of Pollok park was
presented to the City of Glasgow by the owner Mrs
Anne Maxwell Macdonald in 1966. Her family had
owned the estate for almost 700 years. Pollok House is now managed by the
National Trust for Scotland.
Pollok Park also houses the
World Famous Burrell Collection

century), Mrs Macdonald also gifted furniture,
silver and glassware... |

privately owned collection of Spanish paintings
in the UK including works by Goya, Murillo and El

(1st April - 31st October)
Free entry during winter (Nov - March) except special
event days. NB the majority of days in Dec. are designated as special
event days and charges apply.
