Strathclyde Country Park


Strathclyde Country Park.

Strathclyde Country Park is the most popular park of it's kind in Scotland. The park is a venue for a number of major events, including the "T In The Park" music festival. The 1996 World Rowing Championships were also held here. As well as watersports, nature trails, and a Ranger Service, Strathclyde Country Park has an excavated Roman Bath-house.

Dalzell Country Park

Dalzell House dates from the sixteenth century and is surrounded by a park offering woodland walks through varied woodland, as well as picnic spots.

Motherwell Heritage Centre

This centre tells Motherwell's story in an entertaining, educational fashion. It includes local history collections, exhibitions, gallery space and conference facilities.
