On
the outskirts of St Monans (or St Monance) you will pass
the remains of a castle and a newly restored windmill dating
from around 1780, used in the extraction of sea salt from salt
pans.
St
Monans Church is uniquie. Built on the shore of the Firth of
Forth, and it is the church closest to the sea anywhere in
Scotland.
